[A B O U T]
I'm NiNi, the lead vocalist of CORVO, and this is my personal blog [obviously, I'm an open book]!

I write a little bit about the band here, but mostly about personal and silly stuff. Although I don't blog about myself on the band's page, I don't mind if fans stumble upon this site and read it [if it's truly personal, it doesn't show up here].

The Flickr photo stream and the LastFM music feed drops many hints concerning the band's progress. Singing for CORVO and making art is my life's passion.

I thought I'd already seen everything on the 'Net until I downloaded the Stumble Upon browser! It's where I found BabyAnimalz.com, by the way.

No. 1 Kitchen

A new Chinese restaurant that moved in across the street from us. They also serve SUSHI. We have eaten there 2-3x a week since they opened. We found out last weekend that spicy lobster roll + champagne = Food of the Gods. We're doing more of that this weekend as a second Valentine's Day celebration. Oh and they cook with 100% vegetable oil, so it's not all heavy and greazy and nasty.

Speaking of Addictions

Why are my soaps suddenly so Goddamn serious??

General Hospital: A deadly epidemic is sweeping over the city and even worse, the run-amok virus is a mutation that has been developed in a lab somewhere by THE GOVERNMENT for biological warfare. People - including characters that I've grown up with since grade school - are DYING on the show and have been almost at death's door...like...every day now for the last couple of weeks.

Maybe this is a good thing, because I've been deleting episodes off the Tivo for the first time in a long time. Maybe it will make me pick up a book.

The OC: Cute surfer guest star boy falls from a cliff and DIES. I'm just thankful for the whole "socialite debutante turned trailer Goddess" storyline...that's some great comic relief. "Gus, I told you I didn't want any pigeon pie!"

The L Word: Favorite character gets breast cancer which has already mestasticized and she's at death's door. But...the Pam Grier with "bony-assed white boy" love story is funny. And Alan Cumming is sheer genius. That is one sexy-ass...um...bisexual?

Anyway, I know it's intelligent to cover relevant social issues in TV shows, but on all three of my soaps at once? I CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! I never thought I'd find Lost and Battlestar Galactica to seem waaaay easier to watch than General Hospital and The OC. The L Word has always had a lot of dark stuff woven in it, so...okay, that's fine, L Word. But OC and GH? Get back to beautiful people falling in and out and in and out of love again, okay? I know it's February sweeps but...your job is to BE my Prozac, not make me feel like taking it, okay?!
