What is wrong with
this picture, hmmmm? They've really put the "FOX" into Faux Pas, eh? Even the GOP Propaganda Channel can't hide from the truth.
How relieved am I that new episodes of
Real Time With Bill Maher have begun? VERY. Because while I'm in constant tears about the state of our nation, I can also have a good, bitter laugh and find comfort in the fact that the United States has not
completely lost its freedoms...quite...yet.
I almost shut this baby down this week. Seriously and truly...
But there's so much exciting stuff going on in my life right now, it would be a shame to stop journalling it. It's tough though, because I don't really have the time to blog...I need to devote all of my extra time and energy to the band, to evolving our dreams, to moving forward...but to not journal about it all would be silly. Someday, I'll look back upon this time and want to read about how it all started, how it all progressed...
So I've decided to make Fridays my blogging day. I don't have time to blog every day, but once a week is definitely do-able. And Fridays can be a good day to reflect upon the week, prepare for the weekend and also get caught up with all of my friends in the bloop. Oh, and to procrastinate at work.
I've come to realize that I've been blogging far too many years to stop now. It's almost like I need to recommit to it, but reign it in at the same time. If I commit to just one day a week, I'll be blogging regularly rather than sporadically, but not so much that it starts to overwhelm me. So in reigning it in a bit, I'm also committing to being a regular blogger...which means that I could potentially make this a blog of quality rather than quantity. Hmmm...what a concept!
So that's the plan. It's all about compromise.
