I'm NiNi, the lead vocalist of CORVO, and this is my personal blog [obviously, I'm an open book]!

I write a little bit about the band here, but mostly about personal and silly stuff. Although I don't blog about myself on the band's page, I don't mind if fans stumble upon this site and read it [if it's truly personal, it doesn't show up here].

The Flickr photo stream and the LastFM music feed drops many hints concerning the band's progress. Singing for CORVO and making art is my life's passion.

WHOA!

I googled Corvo to see if the webcrawlers/spiders are starting to pick us up yet [the answer is yes, they are]. Imagine how elated I was to find this posted to a topic regarding "Bands Who Deserve More Recognition" at the Gothic.net forums:

A new band I've been checking out lately that deserves hella recognition is Corvo. 2-piece Electro-Gothic band. So far, I heard 5 songs of theirs & they're amazing. I'm surprised Metropolis or Dancing Ferret Records hasn't signed them or discovered them yet. Corvo's music is kind of hard for me to describe, so check out the Mp3s on their websites/webpages & I'll let you be he judge.

"So scary, it's beautiful."

If we did ever sign to a label, Metropolis Records is one that we've considered and will at least approach for distribution. We've seen them really raise The Birthday Massacre to the top, and their roster of artists in the Gothic genre is enormously impressive. So....that's quite an amazing sight to behold - witnessing a fan saying that we belong on that label! That's definitely going to be added to the "feedback" page.

*Still Bewildered*

Sometimes, I feel like I'm outside my body watching these rising stars paving their way to success...it feels like I'm just "Jeannine" and I'm going about my routine, and that "NiNi" is my cool sister that I keep in touch with...I am living the surreal life, lemme tell ya...and it's really getting fun!
